Richard has been working in film and television for over 16 years. He has worked on over 300 documentary, investigative and docudramas for major networks. His directorial project, WOMEN ON DEATH ROW II, premiered on the Women's Entertainment Channel and received the highest ratings for any premiere in WETV's history. Richard followed up with WOMEN ON DEATH ROW III which garnered him a nomination for a 2008 WIN AWARD for OUTSTANDING DOCUMENTARY FILM. Richard went on to direct DEATH ROW IV and V.

Richard directed the premiere season of WOMEN BEHIND BARS, a 12 part series of the true crimes of women. WOMEN BEHIND BARS received the highest ratings for a series premiere in WETV's history. Richard was then asked to executive produce and direct multiple additional series along with the second and third seasons of WOMEN BEHIND BARS.

Richard made his feature debut with PELT, a 1980's style horror film that won the top two honors at the Big Bear Horror Film Festival, "BEST FEATURE" and "AUDIENCE CHOICE". He also wrote and directed LORe, a made for television feature for the Discovery Networks based on the true crimes of Richard Chase. LORe earned rave reviews from critics and the network.

The blending of Richard's documentary and feature film background has contributed to his unique visionary style. It's this unique style that has created high demand for his work in the commercial realm.
